‘Edutainment’ destination will supervise children in play session while mothers receive important health education as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 28 October, 2015 – Mums in Dubai can make the most of free health advice whilst their children enjoy a supervised play session thanks to Cheeky Monkeys. In conjunction with Mother & Baby Child Magazine, the award winning ‘edutainment’ organisation is providing specialist doctors to impart breast health education for mothers at its venue in Al Barsha on Wednesday, 28 October. Introduced as an initiative for Breast Cancer Awareness month, the activity will enable mums to learn how to stay well while their little ones have fun.
“Breast health advice is essential for women in order to promote their wellness, but at Cheeky Monkeys we are only too aware of how busy mothers of young children can be and how difficult it is for them to receive education when they need to take care of their little ones. Because of this, we decided to offer a day of breast cancer awareness information for mums while we keep their children occupied with a fun and interactive play session,” said Shazad Ali, Managing Director of Cheeky Monkeys Playland.
Cheeky Monkeys’ activity will see specialist doctors in place at the company’s Al Barsha venue from 10am to 11am to discuss breast cancer; its symptoms and its prevention. Affiliated clinics and hospitals will provide free check-ups for general health concerns and discounted mammogram voucher packages are being offered by Al Zahra Hospital, Dubai. As a Venue Sponsor for the event, Cheeky Monkeys is providing three hours free play entry for kids to enjoy while their parents are participating in the talks.
In addition to the health advice on offer, mothers attending the activity will be entitled to a free 30 minutes yoga session conducted by Yoga Yalla Personal Training. Other attractions will include snacks and refreshments, sampling offers, raffles, prizes and a goodie bags for all attendees.
“Marka is proud to see Cheeky Monkey’s supporting Breast Cancer Awareness month. Families are the building blocks of society, and healthy families build healthy societies.
